Who can join SADTU SACCO

Members joining SADTU SACCO are formed by a common bond which is the SADTU union. To join you must be a member of the union, employee of the union as well as the employee of the associate institution such as SIHOLD

How often can I take out my savings?

Regular savings can be withdrawn once a month with a 48hr notification from member. Christmas savings are only taken out at the end of the year in the month of November and December.

What is a membership share mean to me?

Membership is a once off obligatory share that is paid upon joining the co-operative. This will give you ownership of your shares as well as equal voting rights in any decision making of the co-operative.

How safe is my money with SADTU SACCO

SADTU SACCO is registered under the SARB (South African Reserve Bank) Prudential authority and is regulated and audited on a quarterly basis by the Ngubane & CO. We also have an Audit and Risk Committee that will undertake the internal auditing of the Co-operative.

Can I increase or decrease my savings?

Yes, should you wish to amend your savings, we will provide you with a form to make those changes before your next debit date.
